The fruit is sourced from a block at Yamhill Valley Vineyards where I am Assistant Winemaker. Back in 2009 I helped plant that block, crawling on my hands and knees in the dirt with our crew, planting each Pommard Pinot Noir Vine by hand. When it was complete we celebrated together in the hot sun and quenched our thirst with hard earned beer.
This label would not be possible without the generosity and trust of Denis Burger, his family and YVV. I am so very grateful for the opportunity to have the creative freedom to develop my own label. This is a dream that I’ve had since I quit my other job to pursue winemaking. I am humbled and so very grateful to experience the fact that dreams come true!
